ELLIE SADEGHI received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. Ms. Sadeghi went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Trinity Law School, where she was a recipient of the Trinity Service Award and Jurisprudence Awards in Contracts, Criminal Procedure and Community Property.
During her time at Trinity, Ms. Sadeghi served as Student Body President, a member of the Trial and Advocacy Team and participated in the San Francisco Traynor Moot Court Competition. In addition to juggling her extra-curricular activities, Ms. Sadeghi excelled academically, receiving high scores in Brief Writing and Oral Advocacy Skills. Ms. Sadeghi also held a legal externship under The Honorable Theodore Albert at the United States Bankruptcy Court, where she performed an extensive amount of legal research and provided analysis and recommendations for Judge Albert.
After admittance to the State Bar of California, Ms. Sadeghi served as in-house counsel for a large telecommunications retailer, where she handled contract review and negotiation. Ms. Sadeghi acted as the primary liaison between the company and insurance carriers; evaluating, monitoring and settling claims for the employer. Prior to joining Samuelsen, Gonzalez, Valenzuela & Brown, Ms. Sadeghi worked at a large Workers’ Compensation Defense firm handling Southern California claims and lien litigation statewide. She has experience handling a wide variety of cases including medical necessity arguments, AOE/COE factual disputes and post termination claims.
