AIMEE CASO received her degree from Scripps College in 1982 with a double major in Political Science and Economics. Ms. Caso received her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 1998 and was admitted to the State Bar in 1999.
Ms. Caso started her career in the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District where she served as a Judicial Extern for Justice Nares and handled legal research and preparation of memorandum opinions for court. She then moved on as a Law Clerk for a firm where she quickly became an Associate handling discovery, trial preparation and trials on Construction defense, medical malpractice and general business litigation. Thereafter, Ms. Caso became In House Counsel for the National Steel & Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) where she handled Longshore and state cases and supervised the Workers’ Compensation department. Ms. Caso advanced on as an Associate for 10 years at a defense firm where she handled all aspects of Workers’ Compensation, including defense of 132a, serious and willful, all aspects of Longshore cases and Subrogation. Later in her career, Ms. Caso started her own practice where she also handled all aspects of Workers’ Compensation defense and Subrogation. Ms. Caso currently educates others as an Adjunct Professor at the California Western School of Law where she teaches Workers’ Compensation Law.
Ms. Caso joined the law offices of Samuelsen, Gonzalez, Valenzuela and Brown as a Partner where she handles Workers’ Compensation Defense in our San Diego office.
