Ms. Myers completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia (otherwise known as Mizzou) with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish as well as a Bachelor of Science & Business Administration. Ms. Myers also attended law school at Mizzou where she was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Dispute Resolution and also had an article published in the journal. She graduated law school in 2002 and moved to California shortly thereafter to take the bar and she was admitted to the California bar in January 2003.
Ms. Myers has exclusively practiced workers’ compensation as a defense attorney. She has been litigating cases for 14 years for self-insured as well as insured clients. Ms. Myers is well versed in all the current issues in the workers’ compensation system and has prevailed in a LeBoeuf trial as well as receiving a take nothing in a death case. For the last few years she has mainly dealt with cases of a complex nature with high exposure potential.
